Split coil.feature is fantastic. The pickups are a little bit hotter than the probuckers in my standard pro but the quality is every bit a match. The coil split is a nice touch but ill probably never use it. The seller offered to refund the purchase and made every effort to ensure I was satisfied. A tiny amount of fret sprout, and I'm not crazy about the matte finish. This particular Epi is probably the very best one I have ever owned. It stays in tune pretty well, but you'll have to work it in. Thank you. The back of the neck is going to need some kind of sanding or something, it feels like eggshell wall paint. Could not get my guitar cord into the jack on the Epip at first, but was able to fix it by taking the jack out and turning it to a 180 dgree angle. Came set up perfectly out of the box.
